Vijoint One

A temporary synovial fluid replacement for patients affected by degenerative or mechanical arthropathy which causes pain or reduced mobility. Helps restore proper joint function by regenerating the articular fluid and improving its viscosity. It contains 20 mg/ml of hyaluronic acid.
VIJOINT ONE is a transparent, sterile, non-pyrogenic and viscoelastic solution supplied in a 3 ml syringe. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide present in numerous human tissues, especially in synovial fluid, and acts on joints both as a cartilage and ligament lubricant and as a shock absorber. Many studies have shown that the injection of hyaluronic acid into joints affected by osteoarthritis restores synovial fluid viscosity and elasticity, with a consequent reduction in pain and improvement in the joint’s mobility.

Administration
 VIJOINT ONE must be administered one single time per therapy; if necessary, injection can be repeated. Doctor will evaluate the opportunity to administrate another injection according to patient situation.

Warnings

  • Do not administer VIJOINT ONE in the presence of joint effusion.
  • The injection site must be in healthy skin.
  • Do not inject into the bloodstream. Do not inject outside of the joint cavity, into tissues or in the bursa.
  • VIJOINT ONE is for single use and must not be re-sterilised, After the package is opened, VIJOINT ONE must be used immediately and disposed after use according to with applicable laws.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
